Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI),in an official statement, confirmed American airstrikes on its nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. The statement called on the international community to condemn the attacks, vowing that the development of nuclear industry will not stop in Iran.

Here is the full text of the statement by the AEOI:

“Statement of the Atomic Energy Organization Following the American Attack on Nuclear Sites

Following the brutal attacks of the Zionist enemy over the past few days, early this today, the country’s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan were attacked by the enemies of Iran in a barbaric act contrary to international laws, especially the e Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

This action, contrary to international law, was unfortunately carried out under the shadow of the indifference and even complicity of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The American enemy, through social media by the president of this country, has claimed responsibility for the attack on the aforementioned sites, which are under the continuous supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency based on the Safeguards Agreement and the NPT.

It is expected that the international community, while condemning this lawlessness based on the rules of the jungle, will support Iran in asserting its rightful rights.

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran assures the great nation of Iran that despite the malicious conspiracies of the enemies, with the efforts of its thousands of motivated and committed scientists and specialists, it will not allow the path of development of this national industry, which is the result of the blood of the nuclear martyrs, to be stopped.

This organization, in defense of the rights of the noble nation of Iran, has placed the necessary actions, including legal pursuits, on its agenda.”
